I’d always wanted to compete in a marathon so I started regular training in preparation for the Gold Coast marathon. I already knew that performance depends not just on physical fitness but mental preparation and expectations and wanted to incorporate this into my training program. A friend suggested I try hypnotherapy and recommended that I contact Lee. I had several sessions where I visualized myself at every stage of the race, even anticipating periods of flagging energy and muscle fatigue and we worked on strategies for getting through these. I ran the marathon, finished in a very respectable time and really enjoyed the experience. It worked for me!
